About:
Lydia Rosenhamer is a classically trained violinist with over ten years of performance experience. She is currently studying violin at the Wheaton College Conservatory of Music, where she pursues collegiate and professional training under the instruction of Dr. Soh-Hyun Park Altino. While rooted in classical technique, Lydia’s musical interests extend beyond the traditional repertoire, encompassing fiddle, pop, and contemporary styles that allow her versatility as a performer.
Lydia approaches music as an expressive art form, playing from the soul and striving to create an emotional connection with her audience. She believes in the power of music to tell stories that words cannot—stories that can bring listeners to tears or fill them with joy through a single song. Open to performing classical, pop, fiddle, and other genres, Lydia brings both technical excellence and heartfelt expression to every performance.
